PARIS — The Norway-Paris Kiwanis Club will hold the annual Dr. Seuss Breakfast & Children’s Book Fair again this year on Saturday, March 17, when members invite young and old to meet Cat in the Hat and his Friends.

In partnership with Right Start and Read Across America, each child will receive a new book and is encouraged to bring outgrown books to swap for other used books. In addition, each child will be entered in a drawing to win a new sled.

The event will take place from 8 to 11 a.m. in the Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School culinary arts dining room. The cost is $6, and free for kids 12 and under. Kiwanis members will serve pancakes, French toast, eggs, sausage, hash browns, coffee and juice.

Local children’s author Cheryl Johnson of Bridgton will talk about and read excerpts from her books in the “reading corner.” Johnson is a Mom’s Choice Award winner and has several more books in progress.
