BOWDOINHAM (WGME) — State Police have arrested a teenage boy in connection to the death of Marie Sylvester in her Bowdoinham home Monday.

The boy, from Bowdoinham, has been charged with murder and taken to the Long Creek Center in South Portland.

He will make his first court appearance Friday at 1 p.m. in West Bath Court. His name is not being released at this time, because he is a juvenile.

The teen was arrested after he was released from Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick.

Police are not releasing the cause of death for Sylvester at this time.
