AUBURN — Robert R. Landry, 74, of Auburn, died Friday, Feb. 23, at the Clover Living Center in Auburn.

Born in Lewiston on March 12, 1943, he was the son of Albert and Cecile Roberge Bolduc. After his mother’s death in an automobile accident, he was adopted and raised by Ernest and Theresa Landry. Educated in local schools, he married the former Diane Preo. Mrs. Landry passed away on Aug. 11, 2002. Robert worked many years in the shoe industry, and for over 20 years was a painter at Bath Iron Works. He was an avid sports fan, especially hockey, and for years was involved with his three sons’ Lewiston/Auburn youth and high school sports teams. A member of Holy Cross Church, Prince of Peace Parish, he was active in his younger years with the Knights of Columbus.

Survivors include three sons, David and wife, Angela, of Scottsboro, Ala., Michael of Lewiston, and Ryan and wife, Ashley, of Auburn; a brother, Richard, of Lewiston; a sister, Lorraine, of Canada; and five grandchildren, Kayla, Christopher, Dustin, Evan, and Adam Landry.
