LEWISTON — Community Concepts has named Kirk Bellavance as the new director of transportation.

Bellavance joined Community Concepts in 2014 as the volunteer coordinator for transportation, and moved his way up in the organization to his new position. He brings more than 30 years of management experience to his new role.

He was raised and attended schools in Auburn and served for three years in the United States Army. Bellavance resides in Poland.

Community Concepts is a nonprofit organization supporting residents in Androscoggin, Oxford and Franklin counties with programs for children and family services, transportation, heating and utility assistance, affordable housing and financing for housing and businesses.
