LEWISTON — Joy Gould has been hired as the workforce development director at Community Concepts Inc. The position will bring a new focus to developing training for local people looking for employment in growing sectors such as construction and health care.

Gould has more than 20 years of experience in the workforce development and career planning field. She links employers with untapped talent and matches job-seekers with career pathways that lead to economic stability. She is experienced with career ladder mapping, job-task analysis and customized training programs.

Prior to joining Community Concepts, she managed industry-led initiatives in workforce development for key sectors, including information technology, health care, transportation logistics, precision manufacturing, banking and financial services.
