NORWAY — A South Paris man was ticketed for speeding Wednesday night, after he drove his passenger van into a house on Summer Street.
Police Chief Rob Federico said Zachary Wright, 28, was driving on Deering Street when he failed to stop at the intersection with Summer Street.
“He was driving too fast, and he ran the stop sign, plowed through a snowbank and ran right into the house,” Federico said.
Federico said nobody was injured. The homeowner was asleep at the time.
Wright was alone in the 2017 Dodge van, which was wrecked, Federico said.
