PORTLAND — Florence M. Komulainen, 80, of Norway passed away on Friday, Feb. 9, with her family by her side, following a brief illness.

She was born in Bethel on March 4, 1937, the youngest child of William Albert and Stella York Skillings. She attended Gould Academy. She worked at B. E. Cole shoe shop, Paris Manufacturing and retired from C. B. Cummings in 2001.

Florence is survived by her children, Dixie Inman and husband, Gregg, Paul Komulainen and wife, Deborah, and Diane Peet and husband, Michael; grandchildren, Audrey Coffman and husband, Travis, Abby Inman, Zachary Komulainen, Allison Berry and husband, Brant, and Amy Peet; great-grandchildren, Caiden, Carley, Cara, Carson, Caleb, Mikaylah, Nolan and Emerson; her sisters, Marion Grover and Winnifred Cleveland; and her brother, William Skillings.

Florence was predeceased by her parents; sisters, Kathleen Holden, Grace Yates, Matilda Culleton, Priscilla Brett and Edna Skillings; and a great-grandson, Callan Coffman.
