LEWISTON — Francine Poulin, 69, passed away Friday, Feb. 2, 2018, surrounded by her loved ones.
Francine was born Feb. 6, 1948, in the Thetford Mines, Canada, daughter to Albert and Rolande Vachon. She had five siblings.
Francine is survived by her children, Jackie Brewer of Lewiston, Josee Farrar of Norway, Paula Berube and husband Peter of Paris, Daniel Poulin and wife Stephanie, Cindy Tyler and husband Brian of Chicago, Illinois, and John Poulin and wife Jessica of Manchester. She had nine grandchildren, Kayla Farrar, Kyle Footer, Kersten Curtis, Zachary Curtis, Dakota Tibbetts, Nicholas Morrissette, India-Star Brooks, Lilly Poulin and Beaux Tyler, many step-grandchildren and several grandchildren.
When Francine moved from Canada to Lewiston, she occupied her time working for Supreme Slipper. She loved working there and took pride in her work. She took pride in being the fastest worker.
Francine loved her family and friends and enjoyed spending as much time with them as possible. She enjoyed going to church, gardening and doing crossword puzzles. She almost always had a smile and would never hesitate to lend an ear to listen.
Francine moved into Marshwood in Lewiston in May 2017 and met many new friends in the staff and the other residents.
The family would like to thank the staff at Marshwood for taking such good care of Francine. The family is very sad to lose her, but we know she’s with her parents and two of her brothers watching over us all. Until we meet again, Mom, we love you.
