It was heartening to learn that Gov. Paul LePage responded to the many residents, both full and part-time, in western Maine who are opposed to erecting wind towers on our beautiful mountains. Slowing down the process of this development is fair, and the action of the governor makes us feel that we may get some say in this process that so affects our daily lives, our environment and the beauty of our countryside.

Expediting this process was wrong and, hopefully, it can be remedied. There will be no going back if it is not done now.
