A fast moving snow storm is expected Wednesday.
It’s possible that it will turn to rain or sleet along the coast but most of Maine is expected to get all snow is expected for most of the area.
The snow develops between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Wednesday and could last until 1 a.m. Thursday.
Most areas will get 7 to 11 inches of snow in 10 to 12 hours. That rate of snowfall could create whiteout conditions. Plan on whiteout conditions and slick roads during the evening commute.
