LEWISTON — The Dolard and Priscilla Gendron Franco Center, corner of Cedar and Oxford streets, will host its fourth annual party to watch the Super Bowl at 5 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 4. All are welcome to watch the final game of the NFL season when New England Patriots and the Philadelphia Eagles will play.
This is a family-friendly event with a cash bar, a 50/50 drawing and other raffle prizes donated by several local businesses. There will be fun activities for kids, and the thrill of watching as it all goes down on a 10-foot-tall screen.
Doors, bar and cafe will open at 5 p.m. for pregame “tailgate” munchies before or during the Super Bowl. There is a $5 cover to get in.
All ages are encouraged get comfortable by bringing a favorite chair (beanbag, folding chair, camp chair) and/or blankets; some guests are planning to wear Patriots pajamas and other favorite wardrobe items. Those attending are also encouraged to share decor and memorabilia.
