The L/A Nordiques had a five-goal outburst in the first period en route to a 8-2 victory over the Long Beach Sharks.
The win is the Nordiques’ fourth straight over the Sharks.
Adam Colclough paced the Nordiques’ offense with a pair of goals in the opening period. He now has 18 goals on the season which puts him second on the team behind Caleb Labrie, who has 30.
Evan Sullivan had a goal and two assists. Connor Kennedy, Andrew McCormick, Armand O’Keefe and Crewz Berry each had a goal and an assist. Nick Ventura had a goal, while Colby Audette and Zack Mullen each had two assists.
Charlie Bedard and Noah Carlock each scored for the Sharks in the second period.
The Nordiques cap off their four game road trip next weekend when they visit the New England Stars on Friday and the Northeast Generals on Saturday.
