TURNER — Lighting the world with his big brown eyes that were always filled with curiosity and seeking the next adventure, Sean was born Dec. 21, 1966, and took his final ride Dec. 28, 2017.
A welder by trade, his formal education included certificates from the Northeast School of Welding, where metal works became his favorite art medium. However, it was the lessons that came from living with a free spirit, generous nature, strong sense of self, loving heart and great loyalty that made his ability to teach others far surpass what he experienced as a student. He met life’s adversities head on and standing tall.
Sean enjoyed fishing, especially with his brother, where he earned the nickname “Moby Slayer,” and the comedy of errors when teaching his sister to land her first catch. He loved playing cribbage with his dad; watching Patriots football; flying kites; getting lost in old-school rock ‘n’ roll; watching old television shows, including the “good” cartoons; and swapping poker stories with his youngest sister about the bad beats and good wins. He enjoyed having a good laugh both with and at his siblings. He was a good cook, but loved Nan’s rolls. He still missed Nickerson’s store and Maynard and Punk from House’s Market, and felt the lifelong impact of losing his grandparents. Most of all, he loved his nieces and nephews and the warmth of friends and family. He is missed by his cats Tubby and Munchie, also known as “the boys.”
His heart beat to classics, as his old soul enjoyed cars, motorcycles and video games from the past. Chopper loved riding his motorcycle, rolling with anyone who wanted to smoke and smoking with anyone who wanted to roll. He would want his friends and family to think of good times spent together, and for those memories to bring a smile to their faces.
A righteous dude, his tenacity and resilience shine as beacons for those who love him.
He is survived by his mom, Patricia Hunt (Mah), of Turner, and his dad, Homer Hunt, of Colorado; his sister, Shannon Wright; his brother and sister-in-law, Eric Hunt and Shelley Clark; and his sister and brother-in-law, Ryann and Christopher Brackley. He also leaves his nieces Tayler Wright and Alexandria Hunt and his nephews Matthew Wright; Garret and Jacob Hunt; Deklan Rousseau; and Nathan Brackley; a great-nephew, Isaiah Hunt; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
His predecessors include his grandparents Edward and Kathryn Dunn of Turner and Clifton and Madelyn Hunt of Pittsfield.
