AUBURN — Girard J. St. Germain, 74, a resident of Greene, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 26, following a brief illness. He was born in Lewiston, the son of Albert J. St. Germaine and Rosa (Cloutier) St. Germain.
Jerry attended Edward Little High School. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. On Sept. 4, 1964, in Lisbon, he married Gail Elizabeth Hewins, she passed away on Aug. 3, 2016. He worked at Pratt & Whitney in Connecticut as a welder and then as a self-employed independent welder in Maine. Jerry twice won the State of Maine Billiards Championship, in 1996 and 2000. He was a member of the Masonic Tranquil Lodge #29 A.F. & A.M., Kora Shriners, and the Pastimes Club.
He is survived by his son, Brent St. Germain and his companion, Bridget DeBlois, of Winthrop; daughters, Marcy Luce and her husband, Duane, of Lewiston and Dori Ann Perry and her husband, Nick, of Norway; 10 grandchildren, Jessica, Shane, Cassandra, Livanah, Tyrone, Magnolia, Tatyanna, Ava, Riley and Kaillie; four great-grandchildren, Kaydence, Zoey, Paityn and Oliver; a brother, Lawrence St. Germain of New Brunswick, Canada; and a sister, Phyllis Smith of Turner.
He was predeceased by his parents and his wife, Gail St. Germain.
