NEW GLOUCESTER — Route 122 in New Gloucester is shut down Wednesday morning due to a tractor-trailer crash and will be for several hours.
Police say a private shipping truck carrying mostly Poland Spring Water drove off the road due to black ice and rolled over.
The driver is okay and he is talking to police about the crash.
Crews say the reason the cleanup effort will take so long is because they have to remove the cargo by hand.
Crews had to saw into the truck just to get to the cases of water.
