First Auburn Seniors to meet

AUBURN — The First Auburn Senior Citizens will meet for a Christmas dinner on Wednesday, Dec. 20, at the Green Ladle. The doors will open at 10:30 a.m., and those attending must have a ticket. The entertainment will be the Lorraine Ouellette Trio.

There were 46 members present at the last meeting. Attendance winners were Angie Jipson and Dolores Danforth; pot of gold, Lorraine Raymond, Charlotte Dyer and Jane Morin; and, 50/50, Lydia Martineau, Dolores Danforth and Roger St. Pierre.

Tri-Town Penguins to meet

DURHAM — The Tri-Town Penguins Snowmobile Club of Durham, Freeport and Pownal will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 26, at the Durham Fire Station, 615 Hallowell Road.

The club meets on the last Tuesday of each month from September to April. New members are welcome.

Pinochle, pitch players welcome

LEWISTON — Pinochle and pitch card games for seniors are played weekly through May at the Lewiston Armory, 65 Central Ave.

New players are always welcome. Pitch is played at 1 p.m. Tuesdays. Pinochle is at 1 p.m. Thursdays. Refresher courses are available in both categories.

The armory is open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Players must become a member to participate.
