PORTLAND — The Maine Red Claws took control early and never looked back in their 108-87 NBA G League win over the Salt Lake City Stars on Saturday.
Andrew White made four of his five 3-pointers in the first quarter as the Red Claws took a 31-14 lead into the second.
White finished with 25 points on 10-for-20 shooting. Jabari Bird added 20 points for Maine, and Devin Williams recorded a double-double with 13 points and 13 rebounds.
The Stars rallied in the second quarter with a 12-0 run, but the Red Claws (10-8) regained control and led 62-44 by halftime.
Former Red Claw Jermaine Taylor paced Salt Lake City (3-14) with 19 points.
The Red Claws play three straight games before returning home for a game Dec. 31.
