Students at Foster Career and Technical Education Center in Farmington fill boxes with toys Friday for Toys for Tots. Steven Faith, left, a U.S. Marine from the Central Maine Division of Toys for Tots, drove from Brunswick to receive about $300 worth of toys for distribution to children in Maine. Based on an assignment, Brianna Harris, a sophomore in the entrepreneurship class, middle right, received donations from businesses and created a raffle that raised nearly $250 to buy toys. Amber Dunham, middle left, recruited firefighting students, taught by John Churchill, to help sell the raffle tickets. Extra donations were given to raise the amount closer to $300 in toys, said Bonita Lehigh, entrepreneur instructor.  (Ann Bryant, Franklin Journal)
