For many years, the Rev. Arthur and Patricia Greeley of Danville Union Church have co-chaired the “Christmas Child Shoe Box Project.” This year, they filled 14 shoe boxes with toys, school supplies and hygiene items provided by members of the parish. The Shoe Box Project is a ministry of Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child, directed by Franklin Graham. The boxes are distributed to countries all over the world.
