The wins may take some time to accumulate, but the young Poland Knights are taking something away from every game and practice this season.

“We’re very inexperienced,” coach Tyler Tracy said. “There’s a huge learning curve for us, so we’re learning a lot every day.”

The Knights return one starter, senior guard Peter Bolduc, and one rotational player, junior swingman Tyler Tucci, from last year. Both are versatile, so Tracy will be able to use their experience to fill a number of roles.

Beyond those two, Tracy spent the summer and preseason figuring out who could contribute on a consistent basis and what combinations worked best together. Those who play strong defense and take care of the ball have the inside track once the season starts.
