LEWISTON — Thornton Academy grad Katie McCrum led all players with 19 points on 9-of-14 shooting to lead the visiting Colby Mules past Bates College 58-47 at Alumni Gym on Tuesday.
One of those made baskets was a 3-pointer for McCrum, who also hauled in nine rebounds and dished out three assists while forcing four turnovers.
Haley Driscoll was the only other Colby (3-3) player in double figures, knocking down 13 on 5-of-10 shooting.
Nina Davenport led the Bobcats (3-4) with 12 points. Carly Christofi and Emily Freedland added nine each in the loss for Bates, which shot just 24.5 percent from the field, compared to Colby’s 46.3 percent.
