BRUNSWICK — University of Maine Cooperative Extension 4-H in Androscoggin and Sagadahoc counties held the 2017 4-H awards banquet Sunday, Nov. 19, at the Bowling Bowl. More than 45 youth and families participated.

The 2017 Exceptional Accomplishment Through 4-H Award was presented to Jordyn Maloy of Lisbon Falls. The award is the highest honor awarded to an Androscoggin-Sagadahoc 4-H member.

Nominees must be 14 or older with at least three years of active 4-H membership. They must have excelled in 4-H by completing projects, maintaining the 4-H spirit, and serving in their community or school through extracurricular activities and volunteering.

Maine 4-H is the youth development program of UMaine Extension.
