LEWISTON — Children’s fiction writer Judi Valentine will sign books at Creative Artisans of Maine at Provencher’s, 299 River Road, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, Dec., 2. She is participating in “A Yuletide Gathering of Artisans.”

Valentine has written youth fiction, vmemoir and crime tales for several years. “The Crystal Chain” is her first novel for young readers. It was released in March 2017 by Maine Authors Publishing. She has had several fiction pieces published in mid-coast Maine.

Judi was born in Auburn and has lived in Portland, Washington D.C. and Maryland. She and her husband returned to Maine in 2010 and live in Camden.
