NEW GLOUCESTER — Andrea Jeanenne Anastacio, 85, died of natural causes Thursday, Nov. 23, in her home peacefully with loved ones by her side, as she wanted.

She was born in Westbrook on May 26, 1932, the daughter of Helen and Andrew Daniels. She took great pride in her race horses and teaching dance. Her beautiful, kind, caring soul was always there to lend a helping hand.

She enjoyed crocheting, eating breakfast and spending time with her great-grandson, Kyle Daniel Hutchings, and playing Yahtzee. She had a passion for animals. Andrea was one amazingly strong woman with an outgoing and friendly personality and will be dearly missed by all lives and hearts she touched.

She is survived by her daughters, Andrea Lynn Anastacio, Margaret DeSalle, Debbie Malendez. Grandchildren, Angela Lynn, Heidi Knight, Marcus Thompon. Great-grandchildren, Kyle Daniels Hutchings, Owen Chamberlain, Annabelle Malendez, Oakley Aldrich, Elizabeth and T.J. Rodriquez, Mariah, Gregory and Deanairah Knight.

She was predeceased by her parents and husband Ernesto Anastacio. Daughter, Andrea Sorenson; grandchildren Billy Knight, Brenda Cairns and great-grandson Troy Knight.
