TURNER — Fundraising for the annual Leavitt Area High School 2018 Project Graduation is underway and with the holidays approaching, students are hoping that people will consider making a donation to this cause.
The goal of Project Graduation is to send the 128 graduates of the Class of 2018 to the Alfond Center in Waterville for a chemical-free celebration after graduation ceremonies on June 10. The all-night event will include swimming, dancing, rock-wall climbing and multiple sport activities. There are also plans to hire the ever popular hypnotist/magician David Hall, as well as a full night of great food and door prizes.
The goal of the committee is to raise $18,000. The committee is looking for donations of quality items, vouchers for useful services and/or cash donations to benefit 2018 Project Graduation.
The committee has set March 31, 2018, as the date for their annual Project Graduation Auction to be held at Leavitt Area High School.
