AUBURN — Jordan Reynolds registered her second double-double in as many games and Alex Bessey joined her with double digits to help lead the Central Maine Community College Mustangs to a resounding 81-29 win over the University of Maine at Presque Isle on Friday.

Reynolds had 12 points and 12 rebounds, while Bessey also had 12 points, including one from beyond the arc.

The Mustangs pushed the pace early and opened up a 28-12 lead after the first quarter, a lead they stretched to 50-16 at the half.Fourteen different players scored for CMCC (8-1).

Natalie Thurber and Ellie Harrington each had a pair of 3-pointers in the win, as well.

Teagan Laweryson led the Owls (0-1) with nine points, including one 3-pointer. Rhylee Wright also hit from long range in the loss for UMPI.
