LISBON — The Lisbon United Methodist Church Choir, directed by Debbie Greim, will again be performing a concert of contemporary and traditional Christmas carols at the church, 14 School St., Lisbon Falls. The concert begins at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 10, and is open to the public. Light refreshments will be served after the concert.

The family event is being held as a benefit to collect donations for Holiday Meal Boxes for local families in need of assistance. Each year, as part of its mission to the community, the church partners with the local schools by providing 21 food baskets for the town’s Holiday Meal Basket program. Each box is filled with a turkey, stuffing, fresh and canned vegetables, fruit and sweets. Admission is a donation of cash or non-perishable canned goods: vegetables, fruit, gravy, cranberry sauce or boxed stuffing mix.
