Horses Across Maine to meet
OXFORD — Horses Across Maine will hold its monthly meeting at 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 16, at the American Legion on King Street.
Meeting topics will include participation in the upcoming holiday parade on Saturday, Nov. 25, in Paris and Norway.
The nonprofit is raising funds for Maine veteran organizations through a 280-mile ride across Maine. Meetings are held the third Thursday of the month.
Horses across Maine seeks new members, including local equestrian organizations. All are welcome.

Winter Farmers Market open
FARMINGTON — The Winter Farmers Market will offer a special Holiday Market from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 22, for those shopping for Thanksgiving treats and fixings.
There will not be a market on Saturday, Nov. 25.
SeniorsPlus office hours
FARMINGTON — The SeniorsPlus office will be open for scheduled appointments Wednesdays from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Walk-in hours are from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and will be held on the second Thursday of every month.
Staff will be on hand to answer any questions or concerns about services and resources for older adults and adults with disabilities and their families. These services are free and open to the public.
