WEST PARIS — Marie T. Boudreau, 84, lifelong resident of Rumford, passed away on Friday, Nov. 10, at Ledgeview Living Center in West Paris following a long illness.

She was born in Rumford on Oct. 13, 1933, a daughter of Natale and Cleofe (Corti) Saisi.

Marie attended Pettengill Grammar School and was a graduate of Stephens High School, Class of 1951, and served as class president her sophomore, junior and senior years.

She worked at the Strand Theater selling candy as a teenager, and all of her adult life she was employed at the Maine National Bank as a teller and loan officer.

Marie married Robert J. Boudreau on Oct. 13, 1956; together they celebrated 47 years of marriage. He passed away on May 21, 2003.

She was a communicant of Parish of the Holy Savior and was a 50-year member of St. Timothy Circle 504, and the Daughters of Isabella.

Marie loved all sports. She was a member of the Chisholm Ski Club and loved skiing at Black Mountain.

She also loved bowling and bowled on a league at Oxford Lanes for many years.

In her later years, Marie served on the Rumford Public Library Committee and fought hard to keep the library at its present location.

Marie spent 42 summers at the family camp at Worthley Pond and loved tending to her flower and vegetable gardens.

Surviving are her three sons, twins Randall J. and Russell J. Boudreau of Limerick and Ryan J. Boudreau of Dallas, TX; sisters-in-law, Rose Marie Watson and husband, John, and Joyce Saisi; brother-in-law, Joseph Buccina; and several nieces and nephews.

Marie was predeceased by her parents, her beloved husband Robert, her siblings Flora Angiolillo, Michael Saisi, Olga Buccina, Tina Paterson and Robert Saisi.
