AUBURN — The House of Bacon will host a night of stand-up comedy starting at 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 17, at 34 Court St.

Sam Pelletier will host featured acts Liam McGurk and Shawn Carter on the weekly showcase.

McGurk has performed at the Cape Fear Comedy Festival, the Riot Theater and as part of the Thunderfest Comedy Festival.

Carter was a semifinalist at the Boston Comedy Festival. He hosts a weekly showcase at the Iron Furnace in Quincy, Massachusetts, and has served as comic-in-residence at the Comedy Studio in Harvard Square.

Pelletier has performed at the Green Mountain Comedy Festival and was a finalist in the Last Comic Laughing competition in Lewiston. He has performed alongside Ben Kronberg and Shane Torres.
