AUBURN — Maurice L. Albert, 83, of Woodlands Memory Care of Lewiston, formerly from Lakeshore Drive, Leeds, and Bradenton, Fla., died Tuesday, Oct. 24, at the Hospice House in Auburn.

Born in Lewiston on Oct. 31, 1933, he was the son of Isidore and Rose Demers Albert. He was educated in local schools and he was a veteran of the Korean War, serving with the Navy. He married Murielle D. Albert in 1957. He worked as a general foreman at Diamond Phoenix for 30 years. He enjoyed tinkering around with his tools.

Survivors include two sons, Michael and wife, Bernadette of Lewiston, and Mark and wife, Ann-Marie of Lewiston; a sister, Joline and husband, Paul Martel of Lewiston; four grandchildren, Jeffrey, Nicole, Derek and Sheena Albert; and five great-grandchildren, Reid and Rylan Caron, Brooke and Trevin Albert, and Amelia Perrin.
