I am proud to say that Shane Bouchard is my choice for mayor of Lewiston.

Bouchard is a self-employed, self-made businessman who deeply cares about my hometown of Lewiston. He has served the city as a city councilor and as a member of the Androscoggin County Budget Committee. Both are thankless jobs at which he has performed admirably.

Bouchard is a local man and local politician who has only one agenda — to put Lewiston first. He works hard and truly cares about Lewiston’s future.

This city needs a strong, local leader like Bouchard. I am confident he is the best man for the job.

I hope others will join me in electing Shane Bouchard as Lewiston’s next mayor on Nov. 7.
