FREEPORT — Christine F. Jellison, age 88, of Lisbon Falls, died Tuesday, Oct. 17, at Freeport Nursing and Rehab Center.
She was born Feb. 21, 1929, in Lisbon Falls, the daughter of Dwight and Hulda Jones Webber. She attended Lisbon schools and married Arthur Royce Jellison in 1951. Mr. Jellison died in 1986.
Before retiring, Mrs. Jellison had worked at HealthTex, Brunswick, and also L.L. Bean, Freeport. She really enjoyed her retirement, visiting with family and friends and always enjoying a good laugh. Her pet Yorkie also gave her much enjoyment in her later years.
She is survived by her daughter, Denise Jellison of California; son, Royce Jellison and his wife, Joann of Lisbon Falls; a granddaughter, Andrea Jellison of Portland; three great-grandchildren, Kay Jellison, Nathaniel Jellison, Anabelle Jellison, all of Portland.
Thanks are given to all who have helped her through her last years of needing care, including friends, family and staff of Freeport Nursing Home.
