LEWISTON — Patricia A. Soucy, 93, of Lewiston, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 22, at d’Youville Pavilion in Lewiston surrounded by her family. She was born on May 5, 1924, in Lewiston, a daughter of the late Arthur and Jane (Beaupres) Paradis.

She grew up in the Lewiston area and attended local schools.

She worked at Mammoth Mart and J.J. Newberry during the Newberry days in Lewiston. She also worked for Ray Optical and for Dr. Wilfred A. Cloutier. Patricia married Roland Soucy on June 17, 1967, at Our Lady of the Rosary Church in Sabattus. Roland and Patricia recently celebrated 50 years of marriage.

She is survived by her loving husband, Roland, of Lewiston; as well as her nieces and nephews, Robert Pinard and his wife, Cheryl, Jackie Gahagan, Constance Donoghue and her husband, Robert and William Pinard and his wife, Pauline and their families. She is also survived by Roland’s special niece and nephew, Maryjane King and her husband, David Collins and Roger Morin and his wife, Rachel; along with several other nieces and nephews and her sisters-in-law, Rita Richards and her husband, Bob and Lillian King.
