NEW VINEYARD — A New Vineyard man was arrested Thursday evening after a police chase from Farmington to New Vineyard.
Devin T. Heutz, 24, was arrested on charges of failing to stop for an officer, attaching false plates and operating with a suspended license, Franklin County Sheriff Scott Nichols said in his weekly report.
At about 9:38 p.m. Thursday, officer Kevin Lemay of the Farmington Police Department attempted to stop the vehicle Heutz was driving for a violation.
The vehicle did not exceed 66 mph en route to New Vineyard, but Heutz would not pull over for a Farmington officer nor for a deputy and sergeant from the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office.
Heutz stopped at a driveway in New Vineyard where officers arrested him on the three charges.
Once the arrest was completed, police discovered that Heutz’s girlfriend and their two young children were with him, Nichols said.
