AUBURN — Cody P. Jacques, 21, of Byron Street in Rumford, passed away in Auburn on Tuesday, Oct. 17, from injuries he received in an accident.

He was born in Rumford on Feb. 29, 1996, a son of Amie McLean and Patrick Law.

Cody was educated in Rumford schools and was a graduate of Mountain Valley High School, Class of 2015.

He was employed in the restaurant industry having worked as a manager at Sam’s in Rumford and Chili’s in Portland.

Cody loved music, playing the guitar, taking selfies and working out at the gym.

He will be remembered for his love of family and always making time for his many cousins.

Cody is survived by his mother, Amie M. Jacques of Rumford; father, Patrick J. Law of Norway; girlfriend, Shaylynn Weishar; sisters, Ashley Jacques of Rumford, Alyssa Jacques of Milton Plantation and Zoie Law of Norway; brother, Ian Jacques of Rumford; maternal grandparents, Roy and Cheryl McLean of Rumford; paternal grandmother, Sharon Law of Rumford; paternal grandfather, John Law of Turner; maternal great-grandparents, Barbara and Eugene Groleau of Canton; uncle, Eric McLean and wife, April, and their children, Madisyn McLean and Zachary McLean of Rumford; a nephew, Wyatt Sicotte; several cousins; and the “Squad.”
