FCAS offering rabies vaccination clinic

INDUSTRY — Franklin County Animal Shelter will hold a rabies vaccination clinic from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 21, at the Industry Town Hall.

Vaccinations will cost $10. Also offered will be canine and feline distemper vaccines for $15 each, flea and tick preventatives for $10 each and microchips for $10 each.

Current rabies certificate must be presented at clinic to receive a three-year rabies certificate.

Benefit for cancer patient

RUMFORD — A benefit will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 21, at the Rumford Eagles for Lisa Robertson, who is battling cancer.

Doors will open at 11 a.m. for the event, which includes a Chinese auction and a 50/50. Drawing of tickets will take place at 2 p.m.

Food and snacks will be available for purchase all day.

Wilton range open to public

WILTON — The Wilton Fish & Game Association will be open to the public from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 22, for those who would like to sight in their guns.
