AUBURN — John P. Buteau, 67, of Mechanic Falls, died early Saturday morning at the Hospice House surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Lewiston, January 1, 1950, a son of Joseph and Laurette Turcotte Buteau and he graduated from Lewiston High School. In his younger years he worked in the paving industry before working 33 years at Pioneer Plastics. In his retirement years he worked at Walmart. John loved his family and spending time with all of them doing the things he liked, hunting, fishing, boating, golfing, camping and computers. John was married to Wilma Hackett who died in 2005.
He is survived by his daughters, Lisa Coddington and her husband, Barry of Venice, Fla., Gail Buteau and her husband, Cory Schuck of Darby, Mont., and Denise Vincent and her husband, Richard Jr., of Lewiston; his brother, Donald and his wife, Sandra, of Bartlett, Tenn., 3 grandchildren, Sarah Vincent and her companion, Joshua Leblanc, of Lewiston, Shawn Vincent and his companion, Bianca Soucy, of Lewiston and Rhiannon Coddington of Venice, Fla.
