Each student made three apple crisps: two to bake at home and one to give to the other half of their after-school program students who chose to do yoga rather than cooking. “Encouraging kids to cook at home is important,” Berry said. Each student made three apple crisps. Two were to take home and bake and one was to give to their 21st Century after-school classmates who chose to practice yoga rather than cook.
