NEW SHARON —The Jim Ditzler Memorial Library in New Sharon will host a poetry reading from 2 to 4 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 7, featuring poems by Jeanne L. Sawyer from her first book, “Evolution Poems Across Seven Decades.” Sawyer is a long-time New Sharon resident and a retired children’s librarian. Her book will be available for purchase at that time.
