ATV club to appreciate landowners
LIVERMORE — The Brettuns Wheelers ATV Club will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 10, at the Livermore Community Building, 25 Church St., and will hold a potluck supper for members and guests.
In appreciation to the landowners who allow Livermore ATV trails to cross their land, they are invited as guests. Club members will provide the food, desserts, coffee and soft drinks.

Apple history topic of program
NORWAY — The Norway Memorial Library will host a program on the history of Maine apples from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 10, 258 Main St., with John P. Bunker from Super Chilly Farm in Palermo.
Bunker is a founding member of Fedco Trees and the Maine Heritage Orchard, and has been preserving Maine apples for 40 years.
Bunker will speak on the history of Maine apple orchards, the varieties of apples, including the Black Oxford, as well as the future of apples in the state.
The program is free and open to the public.

Sewing, craft group to meet
OTISFIELD — The Otisfield Sewing and Craft Group meets from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Wednesdays except the third Wednesday of each month at the Otisfield Community Hall on Route 121.
Members are a small group of women who bring their own projects to work on, although occasionally there are group projects.
