LEWISTON — Bilal Hersi converted a pass from Noor Aden seven minutes into the second half to give Lewiston a 2-1 victory over Messalonskee on Tuesday.
Jacob Perry gave the Eagles (2-5-1) a 1-0 lead in the first half. Aden answered for Lewiston (5-1-2) early into the second frame.
Cooper Millett made a pair of saves for Lewiston, while Dawson Charles deflected 15 shots for Messalonskee.
Buckfield 4, Valley 0
BUCKFIELD — Dylan Harvey netted a pair of goals on Tuesday to lead Buckfield to a 4-0 mid-season boys’ soccer win over Valley.
Caleb Chabe and Victor Verrill also tallied for the Bucks (8-1) to complete the scoring.
Rick Kraske made six saves for Buckfield to notch the shutout, while Dillon Beane deflected 17 shots for the Cavaliers (1-5).
Mt. Blue 8, Skowhegan 1
FARMINGTON — Sam Smith registered a hat trick Tuesday to propel Mt. Blue to a 8-1 rout over Skowhegan in a boys’ soccer tilt.
Chris Marshall chipped in for the Cougars (5-2-1) with two goals, while Adam Loewen, Hunter Bolduc and Clay McCarthy also tallied. Dustin Burgess scored the lone goal for winless Skowhegan (0-8).
Tucker Carelton made four saves for Mt. Blue, while Kyle Abbott turned aside 10 shots between the posts for Skowhegan.
Mt. Abram 6, Wiscasset 0
SALEM — Sam Storer led a balanced attack and scored two goals as Mt. Abram blanked Wiscaset 6-0 in boys’ soccer action Tuesday afternoon.
Ben Butterfield, Jonathan Jordan, Dylan Starbird and Dawson Bate added a goal each for the Roadrunners. Tyson Hill collected two assists.
Goalie Sam Strozier made 11 saves for the Wolverines, while goalies Jack Deming and Nate Luce combined to make five saves on five shots in the winning effort.
Rangeley 2, GPC 2 (2OT)
PORTLAND — Rangeley dominated the field, outpacing Greater Portland Christian 26-5 in shots on goal, but finished in a 2-2 double overtime tie in boys’ soccer action Tuesday afternoon.
The Lakers (1-5-1) received goals from Ian Willis and Leo Perez.
Goalie Mason Jones made 16 saves for the Lions, while goalie Hunter Lowell turned away three for Rangeley.
Hall-Dale 5, Telstar 0
BETHEL — Hall-Dale cruised to a 5-0 victory over Telstar in disciplined fashion in boys’ soccer action Tuesday afternoon.
The Bulldogs took a 4-0 lead at hafltime.
Captain Boston Ludden made 14 saves in net for the Rebels (4-4-1), while goalie freshman Sam Sheafer only need four stops to earn the shutout in net for Hall-Dale.

Messalonskee 6, Edward Little 1
OAKLAND — Haley Lowell found the net four times on Tuesday as Messalonskee overpowered Edward Little 6-1 in a mid-season field hockey tilt.
Autumn Littlefield and Kaitlyn Smith also tallied for the undefeated Eagles (8-0). Kiara Fournier scored the Red Eddies’ (3-7) lone goal with 13 minutes left in the first half.
Julia Vigue made four saves for Messalonskee, while Elise Syphers turned aside 13 shots for Edward Little.
St. Dom’s 14, Waynflete 0
AUBURN — Hannah Trottier-Braun scored nine goals on Tuesday to propel St. Dom’s to a 14-0 field hockey victory over Waynflete.
Caroline Johnson chipped in for the undefeated Saints (9-0) with three goals, while Paige Cote tallied twice to complete the scoring. This 14-goal tally put the Saints at 90 goals, breaking the previous school record of 89 goals in a single season set in 2002.
Abby Slonina didn’t need a single save to record the shutout, while the Waynflete keeper turned aside 33 of the 47 shots she faced.
Poland 10, Old Orchard Beach 1
POLAND — Bri Doucette netted five goals on Tuesday as Poland easily overpowered Old Orchard Beach 10-1 in a lopsided field hockey contest.
Desiree Menard and Olivia Bell chipped in for the Knights with two goals each, while Autumn Willis also tallied. Alison Prejean converted a pass from Allie Shaw to scored for the Seagulls.
Ashton Sturtevant recorded the win in the cage, while Leah Green deflected six shots for Old Orchard Beach.
York 5, Gray-NG 0
GRAY — Natalie Penteleos registered a hat trick on Tuesday as York quickly dispensed with Gray-New Gloucster, 5-0, in more local field hockey action.
Jessa Smith and Cassie Reinsertson also tallied for the Wildcats (8-1) to complete the scoring.
Julia Carr needed only one save to preserve the shutout, while Alicia Credit turned aside 14 shots for the struggling Patriots (1-8).
Mt. Blue 3, Oxford Hills 1
FARMINGTON — Mt. Blue jumped out to a 2-0 advantage in the first half and easily hung on to post a 2-1 mid-season field hockey victory over Oxford Hills.
Molly Harmon led the Cougars (7-3) with two goals, while Ellie Pelletier also tallied.
Lauren Merrill netted the lone Vikings tally.
Erika McArthur made four saves for Mt. Blue, while Kaisa Heikkinen and Maddy Day combined to deflect 17 shots for the Vikings (2-7-1).

Lewiston 0, Messalonskee 0
OAKLAND — Freshman goalkeeper Gemma Landry turned in a strong performance on Tuesday, making 10 saves to allow Lewiston to salvage a 0-0 girls’ soccer draw against powerhouse Messalonskee.
The Eagles (5-1-2) outshot the Blue Devils (1-4-2) 10-4, yet Landry was more than up to the task .
Hannah DelGuice deflected four shots between the posts for Messalonskee.
Brunswick 5, Oxford Hills 0
BRUNSWICK — Lea Scrapchansky netted a pair of goals Tuesday to lead Brunswick to a 5-0 mid-season girls’ soccer victory over Oxford Hills.
Maeve Arthur, Bailey Hartill and Anna Kousky also tallied for the Dragons to complete the scoring.
Beth Labbe made four saves for Brunswick, while Jillian Douglas turned aside 13 shots for the Vikings.
Gray-NG 1, Cape Elizabeth 0
GRAY — Emma Woods’ second half goal was more than adequate for Gray-New Gloucester to come away with a 1-0 girls’ soccer victory over Cape Elizabeth.
The Capers (5-3) were solid offensively, with a one-shot edge (14-13) in shots on goal yet lacked the accuracy to score.
Chelsea Davis made six saves to notch the shutout, while Lilia Membrino deflected four shots for Cape Elizabeth.
Skowhegan 2, Mt. Blue 0
FARMINGTON — Sidney Ames and Alyssa Everett found the back of the cage twice in the second half as Skowegan came away with a 2-0 victory over Mt. Blue in girls’ soccer action Tuesday afternoon.
The Indians (2-6) applied additional pressure at the start of the second half to create scoring opportunities.
Goalie Mackenzie Libby made 15 saves for the Cougars (2-5-1), while goalie Amber Merry repelled three to earn the win in net for Skowhegan.
Buckfield 9, Valley 2
BUCKFIELD — Molly Bourget and Hannah Shields recorded hat tricks as Buckfield sailed to a 9-2 victory over Valley in girls’ soccer action Tuesday afternoon.
The Bucks (4-1-2) took a 5-0 lead at the midpoint. Siana Jacobs assisted on two Buckfield goals.
The Valley (0-6) scored twice in the second half. Kendra Sweet netted both tallies.
