AUBURN — It is with heavy hearts that the family of Amie Wells announces her passing on Tuesday, Sept. 19, at the age of 41. Amie’s life was one of love. She loved deeply and there was no limit to the lengths she would go for the people she loved. Aside from her role as wife and mom, she enjoyed the time she spent as a CNA. She treated the patients like her own, with affection and dignity. She was the happiest when she was helping and caring for others. In addition to her warm heart and generous spirit, she was famous for her apple brownies. She held onto her recipe as a carefully guarded secret and only a few lucky people have been gifted with it. Although she left us too soon, her strength will serve as a reminder everyday to those of us left behind.
Amie is survived by her best friend, soulmate and husband of 24 years, Dennis Wells; the loves of her life, her children, Linden Wells, Dustin Wells, and Darien Wells; her mother, Connie Frechette; her father, Roger Stockwell; her siblings, Scott Henson, Charlee (Stephen) Mason and Taylor Goyette-Frechette; nephews, Alex Henson and the Mason boys, Gabriel, Parker, Colton, Emmett and Finnegan; and many cousins, aunts, uncles, and extended family.
