What to expect: The boys’ team is planning to use pack-running to make an impact in the ever-challenging Western Maine Conference. Led by its veterans and coupled with a new corps of young athletes, the Knights look to build off each others’ strengths for team and personal growth. The girls team is focused on utilizing strong front-running by Samantha Halmos, Olivia Ouellette, and Mia Turkington — combined with a strong sense of inter-team competition for the remaining scoring positions — to pursue its first team berth at the state championship in nearly a decade.
