Joe Leavitt, junior at Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School, received a $1,000 scholarship from Mike Rowe Works Foundation. The scholarship helped Leavitt travel to Louisville, Kentucky, to participate in the Skills USA National Competition auto collision category. Thousands of students participated, with 100 applicants receiving the award. Leavitt placed fifth in his category.
