I am a concerned citizen and feel that this country is in utter chaos. President Trump is incompetent and way out of his element of expertise.
I feel as though I have awakened from a long sleep and find myself in an alien world of hatefulness and anger. People are edgy and ready to fight at the slightest provocation.
What has happened to my world?
My only salvation is the hope voters have elected some adults who can monitor the chaos created by a fool, with other fools trying to justify or make sense of the nonsense.
Someone needs to say that the emperor has no clothes.
Someone needs to stand up and say enough of the madness.
Why are our elected officials defending Trump’s childish behavior, behavior that could be witnessed in any preschool classroom? The pouting, pushing and shoving, the whining when children don’t get their way — that is the same behavior I see on the nightly news exhibited by the president. That is not normal behavior for an adult man, certainly not for a leader of this great country.
By their silence, top government officials condone his behavior. He is leading this country down a path of civil destruction.
Many, if not most, of those people marching in Charlottesville with torches and assault rifles are Trump supporters.
Senators and Congresspeople must speak up before it is too late. They must stop the madness. If they just speak up, the people will stand behind them.
