AUBURN — Paul M. Turgeon, 66, a resident of Turner, passed away Tuesday, August 22, at Hospice House of Androscoggin in Auburn, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born November 14, 1950 in Lewiston, the son of Leo Turgeon and Mariette (Ruel) Turgeon. Paul was a 1970 graduate of Lewiston High School and enjoyed playing hockey during his high school years. He served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. On July 27, 1974, in Lewiston, he married Barbara True of Livermore. Paul worked at Bath Iron Works for 42 years until his retirement. He was a member of the BIW Union and the Philip Bryant American Legion in Turner. Paul was a big fan of the Boston Bruins an avid collector of Pepsi-Cola memorabilia.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Turgeon of Turner; his son Randy Turgeon and his wife Keri of Greene; his daughter Katie Trenoweth and her husband John of Buckfield; 5 grandsons, Cameron, Kaden, Brady, Dylan and Austin; his brother Louis Turgeon and his wife Marti of Walls, Mississippi; and his sister Sue Gagnon of Auburn.
He was predeceased by his parents, brothers, Claude and Pierre Turgeon and sisters, Claire Gagnon and Rachel Turgeon.
