BIDDEFORD — Mark Allen Daniel, 44, of Biddeford, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 9, in Biddeford.
Mark was born in Amarillo, Texas, on Aug. 30, 1972, a son of Charles R. and Julia E. (Keenan) Daniel. He attended Amarillo schools and Amarillo High School. He was a graduate of Oxford Hills High School.
For most of his life, Mark worked as a prep cook in local restaurants, performing all kitchen trades, and had also worked as a tree climber for an arborist. In addition, Mark was a tattoo artist and a sketch artist. He enjoyed anime movies, and was an avid reader and book collector, as well as an avid Red Sox fan. He also liked studying history of anything to do with southeast Asia.
He lived in Old Orchard Beach for the past 1½ years, moving there from Biddeford.
Surviving are his fiancée, Karen Cesare of Old Orchard Beach; and her children whom he thought of as his own, Kristopher Daniels and Kimberly Rockwell, and their children; his mother and stepfather, Julia and Dan Haverinen of South Paris; two brothers, Matthew Daniel of Prescott, Ariz., and Samuel Haverinen and his wife, Michelle, of South Paris; and two nephews, Luc and Ian Daniel, both of Prescott, Ariz.; and several aunts, uncles and cousins who loved him dearly.
