LIVERMORE FALLS – A 2-year-old child was injured Wednesday morning when the child was climbing up on a counter and managed to pull a coffee pot full of hot coffee down over his head, police Lt. Joseph Sage said.

The child was being taken by a LifeFlight of Maine medical helicopter to an unnamed hospital. According to dispatch traffic, the child suffered facial burns.
