TOPSHAM — Thomas Hachey, Lewiston native and former resident, has gained the title of university professor emeritus from Boston College, where he taught for more than a decade.
Hachey, now a resident of Topsham, graduated from St. Dominic High School in 1956 and later taught at Lewiston High School. He also taught at Marquette University before his time at Boston College. He has authored several books and articles of a historical nature.
